LATE SEASON GOOSE HUNTING

GOOSE HUNTING GUIDES

KANSAS

We finish our season with some Kansas late season guided goose hunting chasing Canada geese, snows geese and specks until the very last day of the season in mid February.

Our late season goose hunts run when ducks seasons is closed in KS. That’s traditionally from around the first of the year through the third weekend in January. We pick them up again after the late season duck split and our our goose hunts resume from the last Monday in January through roughly the third Sunday in February. Please remember ducks will be closed at this time but if you love chasing geese as much as we do, you’ll be fine with that!

These hunts will typically be field hunts with a few water sets mixed in over large decoy spreads from layout blinds or aframe blinds (above ground pits).

These late season goose hunts are a ton of fun and a favorite of our guides and clients alike. There are a lot of trophy geese (specks) shot and sent to the taxidermist during our February hunts. This is a great time to harvest some bucket list birds!

KANSAS GUIDED WATERFOWL HUNTS

Our Kansas guided goose hunts will be run in groups of 6-8 hunters. Parties that book with 7 hunters will have a private hunt with just their party and their guides. Smaller groups will be combined with other smaller groups.
