Goose Hunting Guides in Western MN

Year in and year out more geese are killed in the state of MN than any other state.   There are two large contributors to this.

First the state has a large resident goose population due to an abundance of crop land and water. This has led to a boom in the breeding population of canada geese in the state. While this may not sit well with farmers, park go-ers and golf course superintendents this creates a great opportunity for goose hunters in September and October.

We decided to stay at Grahams lodge this time and it was perfect.. great clean rooms and a roomy kitchen to cook on. As always, Graham and the guides worked hard and we shot a bunch of geese. It was another life long experience. Thanks guys.

I was truly impressed with the Staff at MaXXed Out. The guides were knowledgeable and worked well together. They had the tools and equipment to be successful, and we were. We hunted with another group of hunters. They were repeat customers and dedicated waterfowl hunters with great attitudes. This should tell you what type of hunt to expect. Good shootin and good people! Good luck!

Second the state is located in the heart of the Mississippi flyway, one of the largest flyways in the US. Every year hundreds of thousands of geese and ducks migrate through the state of Minnesota.

We run our guided goose hunts in the two areas of the state that are home to the highest population of both resident and migrating canada geese, western MN & the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Our goose hunting guides are local to the are and have been hunting these birds in these areas their entire lives.

Our giant canada goose hunts start in the August and September early seasons and run through our late season hunts in December.
